Data scientists work alone and that's bad
An interesting point is raised in the piece that not only are data science projects typically bespoke, but they're often managed by lone data scientists. Software developers almost always have teams to rely on and learn from whereas the data world is much more individual. One really cool recommendation the author lays out is encouraging centralized helper libraries that promote cross-team collaboration, feedback, and teamwork.
