A Universal Roadmap for Prompt Engineering: The Contextual Scaffolds Framework (CSF)
There is a lot out there on prompt engineering. What I found interesting about Scalamogna's article is the concept of "contextual scaffolds". The two discussed are the "expectational" and "operational" contexts. If you pay for ChatGPT, they provide an avenue to input these contexts via "custom instructions". But the concept got me thinking...we derive so much meaning from context as humans, it is second nature. If we were better able to identify and define the context clues we take for granted, what other contexts could we provide that AI can build on? - Katt Baum
A Detailed Guide for Data Handling Techniques in Data Science
This article highlights the importance of a Data Scientist. It explains how Data Scientist can work with Data Engineers, shows new ways to find and use data, and gives examples of how data solves real-world business problems. It's helpful for keeping up with the latest tricks of the trade and connecting with others in the field. - Johnathan Rodriguez
Artificial Intelligence: Making waves in the stock market
Buy! Sell! Buy! Sell! The Stock market is a difficult thing to navigate even if you do know what you're doing, but through the power of AI, stock trading has become more and more about the patterns and more easily digestible. Through AI, institutions are limiting risk, reducing human bias, and increasing prompt and accurate decision making. Will AI make you a millionaire through the stock market? Only time can tell, but it seems to be making a significant impact. - Reed Cowan
7 Essential Templates for Data Analytics Consulting
Ben shares terrific information to help data people get into data analytics consulting. From detailed templates to best practices, he's a great guide if you're considering analytics consulting. I think what he's doing is especially timely. Data folks were hit hard in 2023 by layoffs. Organizations are increasingly looking for expert consultants to solve pressing, complicated problems. Hit Ben up if you're interested in going down a new path. - Shawn Fergus
5 ways to make your low-code automation more effective
Low-code is typically the fastest way to get a solution to production, but that doesn't always come without tradeoffs. Greg provides some great strategies to keep in mind to make your low-code automation more manageable and engineering friendly. - Blake Burch
Free as in freedom, not as in beer, Pt. 2
The author lists out several issues and pain points data consumers may face from the upstream provider. While the author is primarily focusing on free and open dataset (e.g. from government entities), this basically reads like a list of things to look out for if you yourself are an API or data provider. Take heed. - John Forstmeier
